PLAYING THE GAME: POOL
The genial atmosphere of the Voodoo Lounge on a mid-week night (Wednesday and Thursdays) lends itself to the casual game of pool. These nights invariably see the ‘dinner crowd’, businessmen out on the town or escaping their couped up hotel room, drifting in for after-dinner drinks and an hour or so with the ladies. This is the time-frame when our renowned top-shelf whiskeys are mostly poured and the cues are taken out of the racks. We welcome all players and see this area as an integral part of our cosmopolitan approach to entertainment. There is something idyllic about a quiet drink with a beautiful lady and conversation over a game of pool.
At different times during the year we stage pool competitions (eight ball and nine ball, with ‘strip-jack’ rules for the dancers or attired within the normal course of things, as it suits the players).
