The Voodoo Lounge operates under strict Conditions of Entry. Entry to and/or remaining on these premises constitutes a binding agreement to the following Terms and Conditions. By entering these premises, you agree that:
Age Requirement
You are over 18 years of age and will provide valid government-issued photo identification upon request. Entry will be refused without acceptable ID.
ID Scan & Banned Persons Register
The Voodoo Lounge utilises approved ID scanning technology in accordance with Western Australian licensing and local precinct requirements.
By presenting identification for entry, you consent to your ID being scanned and recorded for security and compliance purposes.
Entry may be refused where:
- You are recorded as banned or excluded within the ID scanning database;
- You are subject to a venue ban, police barring notice, or exclusion order;
- Your identification is false, altered, expired, or cannot be verified.
Where a patron breaches these Conditions of Entry, engages in unlawful conduct, or behaves in a manner considered unsafe or inappropriate, management and security reserve the right to record the patron’s details within the ID scanning system and/or banned persons database for the purpose of future refusal of entry.
All personal information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
Adult Entertainment Acknowledgement
You understand that this venue provides adult entertainment, including nudity and erotic performances, and you do not find such content offensive.
Photography, Filming & Promotional Use
You acknowledge that photography and video recording may occur on the premises for promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, and security purposes.
By entering, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and voice in such materials without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional content, you must notify management or staff and take reasonable steps to move outside the field of view of photographers or videographers.
No personal photography, filming, or recording is permitted without written consent of management.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
The Voodoo Lounge operates in accordance with Western Australian liquor licensing laws.
- Intoxicated persons will not be admitted.
- Intoxicated persons will not be served alcohol.
- Management may refuse service at any time.
- Alcohol purchased on the premises must not be removed.
- Secondary supply of alcohol to intoxicated persons is prohibited.
Failure to comply with RSA requirements may result in immediate removal.
Dress Code – Smart Casual
The Voodoo Lounge maintains a strict Smart Casual dress standard.
The following attire is not permitted:
- Singlets or sleeveless undershirts
- Thongs (flip-flops)
- Open-toed footwear
- Steel cap boots
- Work wear or trade attire
- Sweatpants or tracksuit pants
- Gym wear or athletic shorts
- Soiled, torn, or excessively casual clothing
Management reserves the right to determine acceptable attire at its discretion.
Tattoos & Prohibited Insignia
The Voodoo Lounge reserves the right to refuse entry to any person displaying:
- Face, neck, or hand tattoos deemed inappropriate by management
- Outlaw motorcycle club insignia
- Gang-related or criminal organisation symbols
- Clothing or markings that may cause intimidation, safety concerns, or reputational harm to the venue
Management reserves absolute discretion in determining what is considered inappropriate or unacceptable.
Right To Refuse Entry or Service
Management and security reserve the absolute right to refuse entry, refuse service, or remove any person from the premises at any time and for any lawful reason.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Singlets or sleeveless undershirts
- Thongs (flip-flops)
- Open-toed footwear
- Steel cap boots
- Work wear or trade attire
- Sweatpants or tracksuit pants
- Gym wear or athletic shorts
- Soiled, torn, or excessively casual clothing
No refunds will be provided where entry or service is refused due to breach of these conditions.
Security Authority
Licensed security personnel are authorised to enforce these Conditions of Entry.
Security reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the premises where they believe, in their reasonable opinion, that entry poses a risk to safety, security, or compliance.
Failure to comply with security directions may result in removal and/or police involvement.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Physical contact with performers unless expressly permitted under venue rules
- Harassment, intimidation, or offensive behaviour
- Discriminatory or abusive language
- Drug use or possession
- Interfering with staff or security
Breaches may result in removal, banning, and/or police involvement.
Dancers As Independent Contractors
Performers operate as independent contractors. Any private arrangements, receipts, or tax invoices must be obtained directly from the performer.
The Voodoo Lounge is not responsible for independent arrangements between patrons and performers.
CCTV & Security
CCTV surveillance operates throughout the premises for safety, security, and legal compliance.
Personal Property & Liability
You enter the premises at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Voodoo Lounge excludes liability for loss, injury, damage, or theft occurring on the premises.
Management accepts no responsibility for unattended personal property.
Compliance With Staff Directions
You agree to comply immediately with directions given by management, staff, or security, including requests to leave the premises.
