Strip-Tease Artists Recognition Awards 2021

Like the Oscars for film, or the ARIA’s for music, the STAR’s will be awarded at a night of glitz and glamour, paying tribute to the Striptease Artists of Western Australia.

It is a night when all the Striptease Artists, their Agencies, Disc Jockeys, Costumers, Drivers, lovers and supporters all gather together in one room to pay tribute to their industry and its art-form.

The Award itself consists of a statuette holding a blazing star in the classic victors pose, modelled on an “art deco” period piece. The pieces were hand modelled, with each year being slightly different, thus unique and unavailable from any ordinary trophy supplier or commercial source.

STAR Awards can only be won by professional Striptease Artists who perform direct to the public (not solely in a table-top clubs) via a Booking Agency or Service Provider. These artists are held in high esteem in society’s counter-culture and their names attain an almost goddess status, amongst thousands of groups and individuals, who seek them out to mark of important ritual occasions in their lives.

These artists rightfully deserve the recognition, respect and acknowledgement of their peers and the social community within which they live. Awards will also be made to acknowledge those Agencies and Pioneers who have made a contribution to the Industry.

These Awards celebrate the hard work, artistic and aesthetic merit, and dedication they have brought to this elite performing arts genre. This is Their Night.

Tickets are not generally available to the public and it is a ‘black tie’ event to which entry is eagerly sought and which is attended by the “who is who” of the striptease community.
